April 2023

  • Created Branched Repositories Diagram

  • Created Joseph's job description for Open House Party and Joseph's Ideal job description

  • Created Server Analysis, a document that details the current and potential future state of servers and their hosted services

  • Updated the Support page on OpenHouseParty.us to include what various donation amounts can help with

  • Created a user account in OpenProject for Github integration per this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD1iULYvSZ8

  • Got 2 Raspberry PIs working, 1 for the Repository server. Created Server List to track the servers

  • Got Git and Gitweb working on the Repository server, it is accessible via http://openhouseparty.us:13001/gitweb

  • Created a presentation on Repositories and OpenProject integration; it is in the chasserver Google Drive folder

  • Created a presentation about accessing the hosted repositories called Repository Process

May 2023

  • Created an account with Freeflarum.com for forum discussion. The URL is https://openhouseparty.freeflarum.com/

  • Created Service Development Expectations, a document that explains the purpose and development expectations for various services

  • Created Business/Marketing Layout, a document that displays the revenue streams for both Open House Party and Chas' Chassis

June 2023

  • Created Healthcare Info, a document that has links to insurance option research

  • Created Health Insurance Pyramid, a document that displays a hierarchy of health insurance options

  • Compiled June 15-16 2023 videos from this folder into a single video, uploaded to this folder

  • Did some troubleshooting with OpenProject email. It turns out there is a 2-3 hour delay in sending emails. Notes.

  • Did research in Shipping Rates for Stripe

  • Compiled June 19-24 2023 videos from this folder into a single video, uploaded to this folder

July 2023

  • Explored Zeffy Capabilities

  • Created Map of Open Source Public Repositories

  • Created Map of Zeffy Store Site Capabilities

  • Tested OpenProject file upload due to Chas having an issue with uploading. No issues were found on Joseph's side.

  • Updated OHP Website

    • Included a link to the Zeffy store on the Store page

    • Replaced the Blog with a Community page

    • Added a link to the Freeflarum forum on the Community page

    • Added a timestamp feature to messages sent by users who fill out the Contact Us form

August 2023

  • Contacted FreeFlarum support and resolved an account inactivity issue

  • Updated OpenProject's backup attachment size to 500GB. The current attachment size is 74GB, so it will be a while before needing to update this. Info on this is in the Backup Software Info file.

  • Tried getting OSPOS to work again, this time version 3.3.9. A 500 internal server error appears after attempting to log in to the OSPOS website. Followed tutorial here and here.

December 2023

  • Created Plan for Email and Domain, a document that describes solutions for getting a custom email address.

  • Restored OpenProject December 1st backup to a virtual machine because a project was deleted when Chas tried duplicating it.

  • Followed the steps in this article to set up mailboxes on namecheap

May 2024

  • Updated the OHP website by adding the Zeffy Newsletter form to the homepage, and added chas@openhouseparty.us email address to the footer of the website.

June 2024

  • Had to repair the file system on the raspberry pi hosting the website (Openhouseparty.us) using FSCK (I used the repository server to do it). It turns out that this might need to be done every time power is lost.

July 2024

Time Spent: 23 hours

  • Updated OpenProject from version 12.5.6 to 14.3.0 on the main 1U server. This caused a hostname error on clients who try to connect. Troubleshooting has not been able to fix the problem.

  • Created a new virtual machine on my PC with Ubuntu, did a fresh install of OpenProject on it, transported July 23rd backup files from the 1U main server to the virtual machine, and restored the attachment files and database. The new Virtual Machine is running OpenProject on Port 8999 and we will use this moving forward.

  • Described the details of what happened and the status of the OpenProject servers in a child page from this one here named "July 23 2024 Server Update".

August 2024

  • Started looking into the RelateSEO app in Namecheap and set up the profile with some initial data (1 hour)

  • Had a couple meetings and helped get Lubelogger working on the Ugreen NAS (4 hours)

  • Tried doing an update to the server from version 14.x to 15.x but it only shows an apache default webpage. Reverted to version 14.x.
