2025 January 18 Software reconsiderations transitioning from proprietary (Google) towards Open (Flathub?)

Open Source Software and HUBS to lean into the future with over Google and its proprietary products.

While reviewing different images for health planning and well being I came across flatpack.org and wger a workout app. I'll likely install with Google Play for ease of use at this time, however FLATHUB seems like a more liberating alternative that may grow alongside linux. I may need to consider flathub over google play long term in the future.
